Kim graduated with honors from the University of Missouri School of Journalism and Arts & Sciences in 1975, with an honors interdisciplinary degree in Humanities.
Kim has extensive background in strategic communications planning, media relations, corporate positioning, executive preparation and presentation development, relationship marketing, promotions and special event management, crisis communications, issues management, commercial real estate and retail strategic communications planning, healthcare marketing, banking and financial communications, business to business and consumer marketing-based public relations.
Kim's 25+ year career as a consulting professional includes executive management positions with Holder Kennedy Public Relations & Advertising in Nashville, TN (8 years), Fyock & Associates in Winston-Salem, NC (2 years), Bates USA in Columbus, OH (1 year), and Trone Advertising in High Point, NC (4 years, created a business unit with billings in excess of $3.2 million).
Kim founded Quixote Group as a uniquely integrated marketing and public relations firm in April 1999. The firm, located in Greensboro, NC, employs 15 and, within its first year, generated revenue in excess of $1 million.
Kim is married with two wonderful stepchildren, and enjoys spending her free time with her two wonderful horses, PJ (pictured) and Lady.
